Meet the founder: Julien Sarfati
Julien Sarfati, the founder of Le Tapis Rouge Paris
A business school graduate, Julien Sarfati perfected his knowledge in Spain, China and England. At only 23 years old, this trilingual entrepreneur was trained as a teenager in the world of faux fur at Ecopel, a family business specialized in the production of sustainable and biosourced alternative furs.
Driven by his passion for fashion, travel, and his immoderate love of animals and their well-being, this young entrepreneur has imagined Le Tapis Rouge, a complete line of high-end rugs for dogs and cats.
Owner of Happy, a spitz adopted from a very young age, whom he considers a member of his family in his own right, Julien Sarfati has noticed the lack of proposals in dog stores aimed at improving the comfort of animals in their daily lives and in their movements.
Indeed, the aesthetic side is neglected and is however essential because the bed of your animal is brought to be visible in your place of life. This is how he came up with the idea to make this stagnant market evolve by launching Le Tapis Rouge Paris.
